A good scanner for the Money
I have worked with large Canon imageFORMULA DR-G1130 production document scanner for document processing and have had great results. As business operations evolve so does the needs of our document processing. While in the past batch processing was our go to method now it requires documents to be available the moment they are received. Within our warehouse operations we've set up 8 workstations with imageFORMULA DR-M140 office document scanners. These scanners allow our users to scan manifests, invoices, cargo received, and driver’s license, on the fly while creating the doc receipt at the warehouse. the largest document package size averages to be around 20 pages of odd sizes. Having the ability to scan odd size pages in a single pass is key for our process. Surprisingly the harsh environment of our warehouse which is exposed to outdoor elements and the dust created with the movement of incoming cargo from the forklifts, did raise concern for how these scanners would hold up in this environment. I'm pleased to say they perform very well even in these harsh conditions. If I had anything negative to say about the scanner, it would be to have the option to purchase in black. At least it would look better in our warehouse not having it look so dirty. In an office environment I have no reason to believe these document scanners couldn't perform to what they're advertised for. Hope this helps.

Scan Doesn't WORK
I have bought 5 of these for our office and they all worked great. I finally broke down and bought one for my desk as the others were fine and the Scan Program isn't at all like the old one. It is so complicated to use compared to the 5 EXACT Same scanners I bought prior.

Not Good
Our office bought these scanners for our office a year ago, they are all horrible. They squeak, they jam, time consuming and frustrating. We scan large amounts of documents, Not worth the money. Very frustrating

Replacement for DR-4010C
We have four DR-4010C's and wanted to add a fifth. This unit came less than half the price of a 4010C and nearly as capable, except it's smaller. We almost never have feed or other mechanical problems. We have used this unit for over 6 months now.
Our only complaint is that the TWAIN scan settings wizard that appears on every scan has changed for the worse - like the DR-C130.
