The Fluke Networks Pocket Toner NX1 identifies and tests singular coaxial cable that has F-type connectors to detect continuity, short circuits, and open circuits, and features a detachable tone generator cap with a removable coupler for testing male and female connectors. The toner tests live cabling and is protected up to 52 V. Buzzers in both the main unit and tone generator indicate continuity. The dual-colored LED display shows green for continuity, red for shorts, and remains clear for opens. The toner turns off automatically after 10 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life. It is made of anodized aluminum for light weight, durability, and corrosion resistance. It comes with an F-type male push-on adapter, an F-type female Speed 81 coupler, an AAA battery, and instructions. Additional specifications include various environmental operating conditions. Toners are used by network technicians to troubleshoot and maintain cable in telephone and data networks.
