I have used a half dozen different brands of external drives for various Macs and PC laptops. This one is my favorite by far.Bruce, Canton Ohio and Venice Florida

Then realized I was still out of space on my PC, so, purchased a second HD with 2TB just to move pictures and music off my PC and between the two it's worked out perfectly. Also, I've had previous PC's that have totally stopped working with irreplacable pictures that I've lost because they weren't backed up on an external HD. Now I don't have that issue. I would recommend everyone have an external hard drive.
