This Thunderbolt 3 dock is designed for users with Thunderbolt 3 port equipped MacBook Pro or Windows based laptops. The dock supports dual monitors, so you can easily connect two 4K Ultra HD displays (one DisplayPort and one Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port), or a single Thunderbolt 3 display (60Hz).
You can quickly integrate the dock into your workspace and boost your productivity. With up to 40Gbps of throughput, you can add extra displays to your laptop, access files faster, and reduce waiting, so you can accomplish more in the same amount of time.
Simply connect the TB3 dock to your laptop with the included TB3 cable and start working immediately. No time-consuming driver installations are required.
The Thunderbolt 3 dock supports two 4K (3840 x 2160p or 4096 x 2160p) monitors through the DisplayPort and Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port (a USB-C video adapter might be required).
With access to new and legacy technologies through several different port types, the dock is ideal for virtually all Thunderbolt 3 equipped laptops, including the Apple MacBook Pro and the Dell XPS.
Using the single Thunderbolt 3 cable (included) and a single port on your laptop, you can transform your macOS Sierra (or later) or Windows 7 (or later) laptop into a full-size workstation with access to new and legacy technologies through a number of different port types. The dock is ideal for virtually all Thunderbolt 3 equipped laptops, including the Apple MacBook Pro (2016) and the Dell XPS 13.
The Thunderbolt 3 docking station features two Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports for connecting to Thunderbolt devices and other peripherals that use the USB-C connector, as well as DisplayPort video output.
With the three USB 3.0 ports, you have plenty of ports to connect modern and legacy devices. (USB 3.0 is also known as USB 3.1 Gen 1.) You can keep your mobile device charged and ready to go using the dock's convenient, always-on USB fast-charge and sync port which supports USB Battery Charging Specification 1.2. The Thunderbolt 3 dock also features an extra USB-C port (5Gbps - data only), and a Gigabit Ethernet port.
Certain monitors may be limited to 4K at 30Hz when connecting through DisplayPort. These monitors include the following models: Dell P2715Q, Viewsonic VX2475Smhl-4K, Philips 288P6LJEB, LG 31MU97C-B, Asus PB287Q (these models will need to be set to 4K at 30Hz).

It's perfect!
This docking station is all about convenience! It provides high quality, dual monitor functionality and the multiple usb and thunderbolt ports allow me to connect and charge all my mobile devices. Performance is not an issue. I found the high speed Ethernet connection to be very reliable. The mic and headphone jacks are a bonus….this device has everything! With only one connection to my laptop, the docking station is so easy to disconnect when I’m on the go.

Excellent docking station!
Very nice docking station, solidly built and has a good weight so it doesn't shift around from connected cable weight. Speaking of cabling, the provided power cable is a great length, but the thunderbolt cable was shorter than I would have liked, though this is easily fixed with an alternate cable. Though this device comes with many connections I would have more USB ports but that is simply a personal preference. It should be noted that while there appear to be two thunderbolt ports it should be noted that at least one of them will be used to connect the dock to the computer. Still an excellent dock for its size, weight and cost. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.

Works great with my 15" 2018 MacBook Pro!
Bought this to replace a $50 doc I bought that only supported 1 monitor. This one supports my 2 4K Dell Monitors and charges my 2018 MBP. Setup is simple and then even give you some cables. Works 100% - Love having 3 screens to work with.

Good dock - needs power delivery to be great
For connections this is a great dock. The options of Audio, ethernet, usb-c, thunderbolt 3, usb 3.o and display port are all great things to have
Why they left out charging is beyond me? Oh well almost perfect.
The dock is well built and has a good weight to it. This helps keep the dock in one spot so it doesn't move around a lot with the cables causing it to slide.
The options for displays are great. You can use 2 4k displays at once and the resolution and picture are excellent.
Overall a good dock. I would look for some of the other docks though if you want power delivery.

Sais no charging but still adds power to tb3 port
Bought About 7 months ago. Used on a Brand new Dell G7 laptop. Kept getting a warning about power to a non power port. Even talked to guy at company who didnt really think it would hurt anything. Then my graphics card wouldn't give any signal. 2 1/2 month old laptop sent in with bad motherboard. The device worked great loved the 40gb pass through no complaints accept it most likely fried my motherboard. I wish I could be proved wrong. Now I'm stuck with an expensive paper weight. They should have a non power connecter adapter that has 40gb pass through non power support.

When i bought this 4 months back it worked all well until today when all the USB ports stopped working. I experienced this with Mac. When i googled around, looks like this is a common problem with this.

Was so happy with this dock. Was working perfectly...
Until my MacBook shut down on me.
This dock isn’t a “single cable” use. Doesn’t charge your MacBook when you are using it.

I use this in my office and my mac book pro's battery never charges, I only use this dock to connect more devices
